Volunteer surf life saving club at Umina Beach on the Central Coast. Nippers is for children aged 5 to Under 14 to enjoy the beach in a safe environment, through a Junior Development Program focused on participation and enjoyment that builds confidence and skills in the water and on the sand, and gives a pathway to becoming a qualified surf lifesaver and junior surf sports competitor. The 2026/27 season starts Sunday 11 October 2026 at 9am, breaks over Christmas/New Year and ends Sunday 7 March 2027. U13/U14 nippers can do the Surf Rescue Certificate. Every nipper registration needs a parent member; a birth certificate is required for new nippers. New U6 and U7 memberships include a rashie and cap.
