United Swimming Croydon runs learn-to-swim lessons and squad training at the JD Oates Aquatic Institute at PLC Sydney, 1 Boundary Street, Croydon. The learn-to-swim program covers toddlers from 5 months to 3 years, preschoolers aged 3 to 5 and primary schoolers aged 5 to 12, in classes of 4 to 10 swimmers. Toddler classes are 30 minutes and other classes 45 minutes. As of October 2026, Croydon learn-to-swim classes run Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5.45pm, Friday evenings from 5.30pm, and Saturday afternoons from 1.15pm, with squad training on weekday evenings and Saturday afternoons. New students get a free assessment at the centre to set their level. Enrolment is ongoing rather than by school term, and lessons run all year except public holidays and the Christmas closure. Fees are charged monthly by direct debit; prices are not published on the website.
