Victoria Park Pool

City of Sydney outdoor pool in Victoria Park, opened in 1953 as Sydney's first in-ground public pool. The 50 m pool is heated and open all year, with at least one free-play lane from 9am. A splash pool has a beach-style entry deck and a water feature. Learn-to-swim classes for all ages run October to April, and there is a creche (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays), a cafe on the park and limited free 2-hour parking off City Road. Open 6am to 8pm daily (7am to 7pm public holidays). Entry $8 adult, $6 concession, $19.80 family (2 adults and 2 children under 17), spectator $3.
