Patrol hours for the 2026-27 season: 10am-5pm daily from 26 Sep 2026 to 25 Apr 2027, extended to 9am-6pm from 19 Dec 2026 to 29 Jan 2027; unpatrolled in winter. Council lifeguards usually patrol Monday to Saturday and volunteer surf lifesavers patrol Sundays and public holidays. Swim only between the red and yellow flags - no flags, no swim.
