The Grant McBride Baths

The Grant McBride Baths (formerly The Entrance Ocean Baths) are free tidal ocean baths with a 50 metre outdoor pool, a 22 metre lap pool, a children's wading pool, and change, shower and toilet amenities. They are open year round, subject to cleaning: each pool closes once a week, typically Tuesday or Wednesday depending on tide and weather. Council lifeguards monitor the baths seven days a week in patrol season (Saturday 26 September 2026 to Sunday 25 April 2027) and, in the 2026 winter, patrolled daily from 8am to 1pm.
