Soldiers Beach

Last updated October 2026

Soldiers Beach at Norah Head is a patrolled Central Coast surf beach. NSW Beachwatch says it offers a mix of powerful surf breaks and calmer swimming areas and attracts surfers, swimmers and families. Council lifeguards are on duty 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and Surf Life Saving volunteers patrol on weekends and public holidays during the patrol season, which runs from Saturday 26 September 2026 until Sunday 25 April 2027. Swim between the red and yellow flags and supervise children at all times. Free beach wheelchairs can be booked here during patrol season. NSW Beachwatch lists a cafe or kiosk, parking, a playground or park, showers and toilets here. Within a short walk (OpenStreetMap): Surfside Snax (kiosk, about 40 m) and The Kraken Kiosk (cafe, about 40 m).
