Shelly Park Ocean Pool is an ocean bath with a small sandy beach next to the Esplanade Walkway on the Cronulla Peninsula, beside Shelly Park. Sutherland Shire Council lists a playground, a bubbler, an MLAK accessible toilet and parking; public toilets, change rooms and showers are in the Shelly Park Pavilion. The pool and beach are not patrolled by lifeguards. Council asks swimmers to enter and exit ocean pools carefully and for adults to fully supervise children. Dogs are prohibited on the beach and in the pool, and alcohol is prohibited. Within a short walk are Shelly Park Shop (about 200 m) and The Nuns Pool (restaurant, about 220 m).
