Normanville Beach
Last updated October 2026
Normanville Surf Life Saving Club describes Normanville as one of the most beautiful and child-friendly beaches in South Australia. Volunteer surf lifesavers patrol the 8 km of beach from Carrickalinga to Lady Bay every weekend and public holiday from November until Easter Monday, from 1pm to 5pm (1pm to 6pm in January), so swim between the red and yellow flags. The District Council of Yankalilla's Normanville Foreshore on Jetty Road has toilets, a picnic area, shelter and sports facilities. Dogs must be on a leash at all times within 200 m either side of Normanville Jetty; elsewhere on the beach the rules change by season and time of day, so check the council signs. Avoid discoloured water. Aqua Blue Restaurant is about 86 m away.
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 22 October 2026.
