Seacliff Beach
Last updated October 2026
Seacliff Beach has a wide sandy beach and clear water, and the City of Holdfast Bay calls Seacliff and Kingston Park wonderful swimming spots. Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club patrols the beach every weekend and public holiday, generally from a set date in October to near the end of March. During the patrol season an accessible beach mat runs from the ramp in front of the Seacliff Hotel onto the sand (weekends and public holidays, 1pm to 5pm), and the club offers four beach-access wheelchairs with volunteer support during patrol hours. The council says the foreshore reserves have grassed picnic areas, BBQs, playgrounds and public toilets. Swim between the flags, and avoid discoloured water after rain. Dogs must be on a lead from 10am to 8pm in daylight saving time. Within a short walk are Beach Bar & Kitchen (about 39 m), Nest (about 304 m) and Seacliff Beach Hotel (about 417 m).
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 22 October 2026.
