Surf life saving club at 248 Esplanade, Seacliff. Its Nippers program is for kids aged 5-13 and teaches water safety skills, surf awareness, beach skills and sun-smart habits, with a Junior Development Program pathway into lifesaving and sport. Nippers runs on Saturday afternoons from October to March (short break over Christmas), starting at 1:30pm and finishing between 3:15pm and 4pm, on the beach in front of the Seacliff Patrol Tower. Every child completes a swim and float evaluation; it is not a learn-to-swim program. A parent or guardian must stay at the beach. Optional carnivals are usually on Sundays. 2026/27 fees: U6-U7 $150, U8-U13 $220, including one parent membership; up to two $100 Sports Vouchers accepted.
