West Beach Surf Life Saving Club

Surf life saving club at 1A Seaview Road, West Beach (corner West Beach Road). Its nippers program is for 5 to 13-year-olds and runs on Saturdays from late October to the end of March, with afternoon sessions and morning sessions in the school holidays. In age groups led by accredited Age Group Leaders, children rotate through swimming, beach sprints and flags, games, lifesaving and first aid, and board paddling. A $20 Come and Try program covers any two sessions. The club also runs Tide Breakers, an adaptive nippers program for children aged 5-13 with disabilities or additional needs, starting Saturday 5 December 2026. Fees include a parent membership and surf sports entry; nippers 7-12 are $190 and 5-6 $100.
