North Haven Beach

North Haven Beach is a sandy beach right next to the North Haven Surf Life Saving Club at the northern end of Adelaide's metropolitan coast. The club says it delivers essential patrols and keeps the local beach safe, and runs Nippers for children. Lifesavers patrol on weekends and public holidays from October to April (hours are not published), so swim between the red and yellow flags. The City of Port Adelaide Enfield lists toilets, a walking trail, a car park and disabled parking. Avoid discoloured water after rain. Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 2 m from 10am to 8pm during daylight saving, and can be off leash under effective control outside those hours.
