Gentlemen's Pool, off Cliff Road, is one of the region's earliest rock pools, set in the rock platform just north of Continental Pool. A ramp from the shared pathway near Continental Pool leads to the rock platform, but the ramp and platform may not be accessible at high tide. There is no lifeguard service at Wollongong's rock pools, and council says most suit swimming at low tide. Supervise children and keep eye or hand contact at all times. Within a short walk are Blu Orange (about 90 m), Aqua (about 90 m), North Beach Pavilion (about 310 m) and Basin Cafe (about 320 m), plus several other restaurants and takeaways (OpenStreetMap).
