Frenchmans Bay

Frenchmans Bay is a calm bay with a sandy beach in Botany Bay at La Perouse. Randwick Council describes it as a popular summer beach thanks to its easy access and family-friendly nature, with a children's playground and public toilets in the adjacent reserve and shops and restaurants nearby. The beach faces west over Botany Bay. Randwick City lifeguards run jet ski patrols of the beach from 1 December to 28 February; there are no flagged patrols. Dogs, alcohol and glass bottles are not permitted on the beach. Within a short walk are The Boatshed La Perouse (restaurant, about 280 m), Giovanni La Pizza (restaurant, about 320 m), Driftwood on the bay (about 330 m) and Bare Grill and Cafe (about 350 m).
