Volunteer life saving club on Long Island Drive at Frankston Beach. Its Junior Activities Nipper program provides surf activities for 5 to 13 year olds, where the beach is the classroom: swimming, body-boarding, beach sprints, dolphin-diving and spotting a rip. Nippers is not a swimming school; all Nippers must pass a swim assessment. The 2026/27 season runs on Friday sessions from 13 November 2026 to a presentation on 19 March 2027, with preliminary swims at Pines Forest Pool on 6 November. Parents are required to assist. Nipper program fees for 2026/27: $258 for a new membership covering up to 2 adults and 2 children. All age groups are full for the 2026/27 season.
