The Frankston Regional Foreshore Playground on the Frankston Waterfront Reserve is an award-winning playground with castles, tunnels and shaded sand pits, with separate toddler-junior and senior play equipment and grassy picnic areas. A recent upgrade refurbished the playground's 'Pixie Hats' steel cone roofs and added new junior and senior play spaces with sand play zones, ramps, a shelter, decks, swings and slides. A Liberty Swing is available for children with disabilities. Nearby are all-abilities barbecues and picnic tables, boardwalks, public toilets and paid car parking beside Frankston beach. Nearby is Ol' Mate Coffee (about 666 m).
