Daintree rainforest centre at Cow Bay with an aerial walkway, 23 m canopy tower, kids' audio tour and boardwalks.

The Daintree Discovery Centre at Cow Bay is a rainforest interpretive centre in the Daintree, about 2 hours' drive from Cairns or 1 hour from Port Douglas, reached across the Daintree River ferry. Visitors walk the elevated Aerial Walkway, climb the 23-metre Canopy Tower, follow the Cassowary Circuit and Bush Tucker Trail, and explore the Jarrabina Terraces boardwalk, the Interpretive Display Centre, a Discovery Theatre with a 3D hologram show and a VR Zone. Entry includes an audio tour in eight languages, a children's audio tour for ages 5 to 9, a 68-page guide book and re-entry for 7 days. Prices are $41 adult, $19 child (5-17) and $100 family, valid until March 2027. Open daily 9am to 5pm (last entry 4pm) except Christmas Day. The Aerial Walkway suits prams and strollers; the tower has stairs. Closed-in shoes are recommended. Tickets can be booked online or bought at the front counter. As of October 2026.
