Cremorne Beach
Last updated October 2026
Cremorne Beach faces east and, according to Clarence City Council, is sheltered from the southern swells and Tasmania's predominant south westerly winds. Family picnics and water activities are listed as popular; the point at the southern end is a fishing spot and boat launching place. The council page lists no lifesaver patrol. Access is from Cremorne Beach Reserve on Frederick Henry Parade, which has a car park, toilets including an accessible unisex toilet, free BBQs, a picnic area and fitness equipment. Dogs are off lead but not allowed on the beach 10am-6pm from 1 December to 1 March.
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 22 October 2026.
