Volunteer surf life saving club at Copacabana Beach on the Central Coast, running a Nippers program since 1969. Its Junior Activities Program (Nippers) introduces children aged 5 to 14 to surf life saving, with lessons in wading, running, ocean swimming, board paddling and lifesaving skills plus the basics of resuscitation and first aid. Nippers runs every Sunday from October to March, 9:00-10:00am, for children aged 5 or over at 30 September. Rockpool Rockstars is an all-inclusive program run alongside mainstream nippers for children of different abilities. U13 and U14 members can join the Rookie program to prepare for patrolling. At least one parent or guardian must register as an associate member. The club is a registered NSW Active Kids provider.
