Audley Boatshed kayak, canoe and rowboat hire

Historic Audley Boatshed in Royal National Park, operating since 1893, hires canoes, kayaks and rowboats on the Hacking River. NPWS suggests taking the family out in a rowboat with the ducks, or paddling about 2 km up Kangaroo Creek and back (4 km return, rated easy) between sandstone cliffs, where you might spot kingfishers, turtles and lace monitors. Life jackets are compulsory and included in the hire cost. Open 10am to 5pm Tuesday to Sunday (closed Monday unless a public holiday). Picnic areas and Audley Dance Hall Cafe are nearby.
