Gondola ride up Arthurs Seat on the Mornington Peninsula with bay views, walks and a cafe; under-4s ride free.

Arthurs Seat Eagle is a gondola ride on the Mornington Peninsula, about an hour's drive from Melbourne, running between a Base Station in Dromana and a Summit Station at Arthurs Seat. Each of the 34 gondolas holds up to eight people, and the ride takes about 15 minutes each way, with views across Port Phillip Bay towards the city. At the top there are walking tracks, the Eagle Cafe and a gift shop, and mountain bikers can use an uplift service. As of October 2026, one-way tickets are $29 adult, $19 child (4-16) and $78 family (two adults, two children); return tickets are $36.50 adult, $23.50 child and $97 family. Children under 4 ride free but still need a ticket. Tickets are flexible, with no need to book a time, and can be bought online or at the ticket booth. It opens 10am to 4pm weekdays and 10am to 5pm weekends, and may close in very high winds. The site says it is fully accessible for wheelchairs and prams, and parking is free at both stations.

Facts checked against the venue's own website on 17 October 2026.
