Yorkeys Knob Foreshore Park is a free Cairns Regional Council park along the beach at Yorkeys Knob, north of Cairns. The council's directory lists two playgrounds, barbecues, sheltered picnic tables, drinking water, large shade trees, toilets (the block is listed as the Yorkeys Knob Adventure Playground toilets on Sims Esplanade) and fitness stations spread along an 800 metre beachside pathway, with water views. The beach itself is patrolled by surf lifesavers between 9am and 5pm year round and has a stinger net enclosure from November to May. The council lists the playground as wheelchair accessible.
