Yanchep Surf Life Saving Club

Surf life saving club at Yanchep Lagoon running Woodside Nippers, a surf awareness program for children aged 5 to 13 (children must be 5 by 30 September). Sessions are held on Sunday mornings through the season, which for 2026/27 starts on Sunday 25 October and runs to late March with a break over Christmas. Groups meet at the surf club at 8:30am for a 9am start (Under 7s start at 10am). Nippers run, swim and learn beach safety, and all children complete a Surf Life Saving WA proficiency assessment before water activities. Nippers can also join the club's Competition Squad. Children 14 and under join under a family membership.
