Woolwich Baths
Last updated October 2026
Woolwich Baths are harbour sea baths in Woolwich that first opened in 1907, making them one of Australia's oldest, according to Hunter's Hill Council. They are open to the public every day, and council lists showers. Parking nearby is limited and time restrictions apply. Water quality is monitored daily on NSW Beachwatch, so check it before swimming. Council warns swimmers to beware of blue-ringed octopus. There are no lifeguards. Within a short walk is Woolwich Pier Hotel (pub, about 210 m).
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 22 October 2026.
