Family-based surf life saving club at Sorrento Beach running a Woodside Nippers junior program for the Under 6 to Under 13 age groups. Its aims include developing surf awareness and confidence and skills in beach activities. Junior activities are on Sunday mornings from 8:45am during the season, finishing around 11am, and include swimming and wading races, board paddling and board rescue, sprints and beach flags, and surf awareness and lifesaving skills. Children must meet the SLSWA proficiency level within two weeks of starting, and the club can help with training for it. A parent must also join as a general member. The Dolphins All Abilities Program welcomes Nippers Under 6 to Under 13 of all abilities, with Saturday sessions from 10am to 12pm starting 14 November 2026.
