Surfing WA Surf School is the surf school run by Surfing WA, based at 368 West Coast Drive, Trigg, with most lessons held at Trigg Beach over spring and summer and at a beach north of Mullaloo over winter. Kids classes are for ages 5 to 12 and teen classes for ages 13 to 16. The NRMA Surf Groms weekend program runs on Saturdays and Sundays in school term, in 2-hour sessions over 4 weekends, and the Kids Holiday Program runs 2-hour sessions over 4 consecutive days in every week of the school holidays, across 5 skill levels. Private 90-minute lessons start from $135 for one person plus $35 per extra person, as of October 2026. Boards, wetsuits and sunscreen are included; kids need swimwear, a water bottle, a towel and dry clothes, and should be comfortable floating on their backs. All lessons are booked online.
