Point Leo is a Western Port surf beach on the Mornington Peninsula. Point Leo Surf Life Saving Club patrols on weekends and public holidays from 14 November 2026 to 18 April 2027 (Saturdays from 1pm, Sundays and public holidays from 10am, until 5pm or 6pm in peak summer), with paid lifeguards on weekdays 10am to 6pm from 21 December 2026 to 6 February 2027. The Shire's water safety advice is to always swim at patrolled beaches between the red and yellow flags, check weather, tides, rips and warnings before heading out, and keep children within arm's reach at all times around water.
