Free-parking plane spotting area with a viewing platform and Fokker F28 tail at the Acacia Street Loop, Brisbane Airport, opened July 2026.

Fellowship Place is Brisbane Airport's plane spotting area on the Acacia Street Loop, opened in July 2026 for the airport's 100th year. It has an elevated viewing platform, shade and seating, and the tail of a retired Fokker F28 Fellowship aircraft as its centrepiece. From here you can watch aircraft taxiing on the Zulu and Yankee taxiways and taking off and landing on the runways. Parking is free from 4:30am to 7:30pm, and the airport says these times may change. There is no pedestrian access from the Domestic Terminal, so you need to drive. The airport notes there is limited undercover space and suggests sun protection and insect repellent, and asks visitors to follow signage and security staff and to turn off camera flash. Toilets and food are available at the Brisbane Airport Service Centre, which is open 24 hours.
