Pirate Ship Park on Parkyn Parade near the Mooloolaba Spit has a pirate ship themed play fort with rope ladders, a slide and a rock climbing wall, plus swings, sand play, a balance beam, tunnel and rocker under a shade sail. There is open space for kick and throw games, shelters, barbecues, picnic tables, exercise equipment and connecting paths on the Coastal Pathway. Off-street parking is in east and west car parks, and the nearest toilets are a short walk west at Cheese Block Park. Beach access points 191 to 193 are next to the park. Free to use.
