North Curl Curl Surf Life Saving Club

North Curl Curl SLSC runs Nippers for children aged 5 to 14, introducing surf life saving through games, skill-building and teamwork. Kids start with surf awareness and water safety and progress to running, wading, ocean swimming, board paddling and lifesaving skills, plus first aid and resuscitation. U6s mostly stay on the sand and in shallow water and U7s go waist-deep. The season runs October to March on Sunday mornings, starting Sunday 18 October 2026 (9am for U6 and U7, 9:30am for U8 and older). Children U8 and older complete a preliminary swim evaluation, and a free Intro to Boards session for U9+ runs at 8:15am before Nippers. Registration is online via the Surf Life Saving Members Hub.
