Lady Douglas Crocodile and Wildlife River Cruise

Last updated October 2026

The Lady Douglas runs 1.5-hour calm-water cruises through the mangroves of Dickson Inlet at Port Douglas, looking for estuarine crocodiles and other wildlife. Crocodiles are normally seen on over 90% of trips, especially in the dry season (May to November), along with sea eagles, ospreys, kingfishers, herons, crabs and mudskippers. Each cruise goes far up the inlet and out to the inlet entrance, with commentary about mangroves, crocodiles and Port Douglas history. The boat has a toilet on board, and every cruise includes a drink and a box of snacks. Cruises start at 10:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm and 4:30pm from Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina, 44 Wharf Street. Prices: adults (13+) $50, children 2-12 $45, infants 0-1 free, family of 2 adults and 2 children $170. Choo Choos @ The Marina and Marina View restaurants are about 140 m away.

Facts checked against the venue's own website on 23 October 2026.
