Down Under Cruise & Dive is a Cairns reef tour operator running daily day trips to two outer Great Barrier Reef sites on the 35-metre vessel Evolution. Guests check in at the Reef Fleet Terminal, 1 Spence Street, between 7:15am and 7:45am; the boat departs at 8am and returns at 4:30pm, with up to five hours on the reef. As of October 2026 the Outer Reef Snorkelling Tour costs $275 per adult, $170 per child aged 4 to 16, free for infants aged 0 to 3, and $800 for a family of two adults and two children. The price includes snorkel gear and lycra suits, a BBQ lunch, morning tea and wine and cheese on the return.
