Green Island day trips run from Cairns to Green Island. The Full Day Tour departs at 9am and 11am with up to 5.5 hours on the island; the Half Day Tour departs at 9am and 1pm with 2 hours 15 minutes on the island. Both include a choice of a 30-minute glass bottom boat tour or snorkel gear hire. As of October 2026 both cost $122 per adult, $61 per child and $305 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 4 to 14. Children under 4 are classed as infants, travel free and must be added to the booking. The half day option is recommended for small children and babies; all vessels are pram friendly. Check-in is at the vessels at Marlin Wharf, not inside the Reef Fleet Terminal. Book online or on 07 4051 0444; the office is open 7 days, 7am to 6pm.
