Riverside park with two playgrounds, an all abilities carousel, sand play and basketball half-courts at Cotton Tree, Maroochydore.

Cotton Tree Park on the Maroochy River has two playgrounds with play forts and slides, monkey bars, balancing equipment, sand play, a dry creek bed with a bridge, swings, spring toys, a seesaw, an all abilities carousel and a climbing net. Rubber softfall under some play elements allows wheelchair and pram access to parts of the play area. Nearby Des Scanlan has two basketball half-courts, a modified netball court and table tennis tables. There are large shade sails, picnic shelters, barbecues, toilets, a beach shower and two jetties popular for fishing. The Coastal Pathway runs through the park. Free to use.
