Chelsea Skatepark is part of Bicentennial Park on Scotch Parade, Chelsea, a council park run by the City of Kingston. The council says a skate park has been on the site since 1990, and a 2017 upgrade added a new skate park with a mogul plaza, plus a youth zone with multi-court areas for soccer and basketball, a stage, climbing poles and a DJ table. The same park has a large adventure playground with two long slides, a giant basket swing, monkey bars, a flying fox and a Liberty Swing, as well as a pump track, bike trails, a disc golf course, outdoor gym equipment, an oval and tennis courts. Facilities listed by the council include toilets, accessible toilets, a Changing Places facility, baby change, drinking fountains, shelters with barbecues and tables, and accessible parking.
