Carrum Beach stretches 2 km from the Patterson River south towards Seaford. The City of Kingston says the beach is patrolled by the Carrum Surf Life Saving Club; no official page we found gives exact patrol hours. Beach matting is available on weekends in the warmer months (check with the club). The council lists a boardwalk and a large sea-themed playground with shelters, tables, toilets, a drinking fountain, deck chairs and a BBQ area, plus a car park and an off-leash dog area.
