Bondi Surf Bathers' Life Saving Club

Bondi Surf Bathers' Life Saving Club runs Bondi Nippers on Bondi Beach for U6 to U14 age groups; children can start once they turn 5. Nippers is a pathway for children to become confident in the ocean, develop skills, make friends and learn to save lives; it is not a learn-to-swim program, and all U6-U14 Nippers complete a pool proficiency before the season. The 2026-27 season starts 18 October 2026. Every Nipper needs at least one registered parent or carer, and parents help as BBQ volunteers, age group managers or water safety. Registrations for the 2026-27 season are closed. The club also runs Bondi Dippers, an inclusive seven-week beach program for children with additional needs, delivered with Autism Swim.
