Bronte Surf Life Saving Club

Volunteer surf life saving club at Bronte Beach. Its Nippers program is open to children aged 5-14 and runs on Sunday mornings; the 2026-27 season started on 11 October 2026 for Under 6s and 18 October 2026 for all age groups. Nippers do age-group activities each week including board paddling, swimming, wading, running and beach flags, and learn skills from surf awareness through to CPR, water rescues and basic first aid. The program builds towards the Surf Rescue Certificate in Under 14, after which Nippers can join patrols as Cadets. From Under 8, Nippers complete an annual pool proficiency swim. Parents are encouraged to take part. Registrations for 2026-27 are closed.
