Beverley Whitfield Ocean Pool is a 50 m saltwater pool at the southern end of the Shellharbour Village foreshore, with a shaded children's pool. It has a new access ramp and staircase and a water wheelchair (MLAK key; two support people needed). Lifeguards patrol 9am-5pm daily in the September, summer and April school holidays; it is unpatrolled from the April to the September school holidays. Council lists BBQs, picnic tables, public toilets, outdoor showers and a car park. The pool is cleaned at 1pm every Tuesday. Within a short walk are The Sunken Spud (about 80 m), Shellharbour Village Pharmacy (about 250 m), Green Poppy (about 310 m) and Shellharbour Convenience Store (about 360 m), plus several other restaurants and takeaways (OpenStreetMap).
