Anglesea Beach

Last updated October 2026

Anglesea Beach sits at the mouth of the Anglesea River. The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority says it offers protected swimming areas ideal for families and less experienced swimmers. Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club patrols the main beach on Saturday afternoons, Sundays and public holidays from late November 2026 to 18 April 2027, with paid lifeguards midweek and on Saturday mornings from 27 December to 25 January. Lifesavers are only on duty when the red and yellow flags are displayed. A Changing Places facility (MLAK key) is at Four Kings car park, and access matting is laid on the riverside at Anglesea Riverbank in peak season. Nearby (OpenStreetMap): Love House Anglesea (restaurant, about 70 m) and Four Kings Crepe (takeaway, about 300 m).
