Animal Land Children's Farm is a family-owned working farm at 190 Duncans Lane (Gate 2), Diggers Rest, about 30 minutes' drive north-west of the CBD. General admission is a self-guided walk of about 2 to 2.5 hours that includes a pony ride, the animal nursery and buckets of feed for chooks, ducks, cows, sheep, goats, horses, ponies and pigs. The Holy Cow Cafe sells meals and coffee, and picnics are allowed. As of October 2026 the farm opens to the public Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 3pm, last entry 12.30pm, with extra days in school holidays; it closes on total fire ban days. Tickets are $20 per child and $25 per adult, with Flock of 4 and Mob of 5 passes online. Booking ahead is highly recommended because visitor numbers are capped. The farm is largely flat with ramps, and accepts the Companion Card.
