Wombat Bend Playground (Finns Reserve)

Wombat Bend in Finns Reserve beside the Yarra River is an all abilities playground that Manningham Council grades as regional. It has community art and sculptures, sensory play activities, an amphitheatre, a native forest walk, a large mosaic called 'The Circle of Friends' and maze panels, plus a nature play area east of the playground where children can build a cubby from bush materials. Equipment includes swings, a maze, monkey bars, slides, a flying fox and sand play. The playground is fully fenced and is a dog-free zone. There are barbecues, sheltered picnic areas, toilets and drinking fountains on site, with car parking off Duncan Road. Nearby is Melissa Cakes Cafe Bar (about 599 m).
