Ballam Park

Ballam Park on Cranbourne Road, Karingal has two regional playground areas in 30 hectares of open space. Council says the newer $3 million play space suits toddlers to 12-year-olds and includes Frankston's first water play, with a sway bridge, basket swing, balance beams, cubby house and climbing rocks added in 2024 beside the older Ballam Bumps playground. Facilities listed are free barbecues in shaded areas, toilets, parking, picnic tables, shelters, drinking fountains and a walking track. There is also an athletics track, sports fields, a fenced dog agility park and the 1850s Ballam Park Homestead museum. Entry is free.
