Werribee South Beach
Last updated October 2026
Werribee South Beach is a quiet bay beach on the Werribee South foreshore. Wyndham City's visitor site says the beach remains in its natural state, with calm, shallow waters that are shallow enough to wade about. The foreshore has public toilets, two playgrounds, a coastal walking trail and barbecues, plus shaded BBQs and picnic areas. Dogs are welcome for a swim. No official page we could read gives lifeguard patrol hours for this beach. Council safety advice: swim between the red and yellow flags at a patrolled beach wherever possible, and actively supervise children and keep them within arm's reach.
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 22 October 2026.
