The Big Pineapple at Woombye has been a Sunshine Coast landmark since 1971. Entry to the site is free and it is open daily 8.30am to 4pm, though individual experiences set their own hours. Families can ride the Pineapple Train around the grounds, climb the renovated, air-conditioned interior of the pineapple for 360-degree views, take a Pine Mobile tour, visit Wildlife HQ Zoo or try the TreeTop Challenge high ropes park. There is a cafe, free parking and accessible parking near the entrance, and the fields host music festivals and markets. Prices for the train and climb are not published on the pages checked.
