Day cruises from Brisbane to Moreton Island's Tangalooma resort, with optional packages that include evening wild dolphin feeding.

Tangalooma Island Resort on Moreton Island runs return day cruises from Brisbane. Passenger ferries leave Holt Street Wharf in Pinkenba and take about 75 minutes each way. The Beach Day Cruise departs Brisbane at 7.30am or 10am and leaves Tangalooma at 4pm; it includes a lunch voucher and use of the resort pools. Other day cruises add a desert safari, marine discovery cruise, wreck snorkelling, ATV quad bikes or (June to October) whale watching. The resort's wild dolphin feeding happens each evening and is only open to guests on selected accommodation and day cruise packages; day cruise packages that include it return to Brisbane after the feeding, around 7pm to 8pm depending on season. Children 102cm or taller can walk into the water with a parent to feed a dolphin; smaller children are carried. Child prices are for ages 3 to 14. As of October 2026 the Beach Day Cruise is 109 dollars per adult and 79 dollars per child, including a 10 dollar fuel surcharge until 31 January 2027. Book ahead.
