Brisbane Whale Watching (MV Eye Spy)
Last updated October 2026
Humpback whale-watching cruises in Moreton Bay on the catamaran MV Eye Spy, leaving from the end of Redcliffe Jetty, about 40 minutes' drive north of Brisbane CBD. Whales migrate through the bay from June to early November, and dolphins often join the trip. Guests board at 9am for a 10am departure and return about 2pm-2:30pm, weather permitting. The day cruise includes a picnic lunchbox and commentary, with a licensed bar and snack counter on board; if no whales are seen you get a free seat on the next available cruise. There is an all-day free car park 100 m north of the jetty. Nearby: The Oasis and Preece's cafes (about 180 m) and The Big Kid Ice-Creamery (about 220 m).
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 23 October 2026.
