Surf life saving club on the Esplanade at Moana in Adelaide's south. It runs Nippers for children aged 5 to 13 every Saturday afternoon from 1:30pm to 4pm, covering nippers education, surf skills development and beach awareness and safety, in age groups U8 to U13. Younger children (5-7) join Mini Moes, a game-based session on Saturdays from 2:30pm to 3:30pm, limited to 30 children, with a parent staying for the whole session; each child gets a bucket hat and high-vis rash vest. Parents must stay on the beach and help out, as nippers is not drop and go. Junior membership (8-13) is $170 and Mini Mo membership $100, each including a first-year nipper parent membership.
