Melaleuca Boardwalk Trail, Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Area

Last updated October 2026

Elevated boardwalk through a melaleuca forest above wetlands, part of the Wallaby Circuit (1.2 km loop). The council calls it an easy and scenic way to explore the conservation area. The start has educational signage and maps about the wetlands, flora and fauna, and the page says you may spot a koala; access is from the car park on Lakelands Drive via Pine Ridge Road. City of Gold Coast says its conservation estate is an effortless and free way to enjoy nature; dogs are not allowed in conservation areas.
