Natural Bridge circuit, Springbrook National Park
Last updated October 2026
A 1 km sealed circuit (allow about 1 hour, Grade 2) in the Natural Bridge section of Springbrook National Park. It winds through rainforest with ancient hoop pines, across Cave Creek and into an arched cave where a waterfall plunges through the roof, with interpretive signs along the way. Because of long sets of stairs, it is easier walked clockwise. At night the cave glows with thousands of glow-worms (fewer in winter); do not shine torches on them or use insect repellent near them. Access to the creek and creek bank, including inside the cave, is prohibited. A sheltered picnic table and toilets are provided; the water is not suitable for drinking. Part of the track may close after heavy rain.
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 23 October 2026.
